Wedding Hub is a private administrative tool operated by James Riley, a registered marriage celebrant based in the Wairarapa, New Zealand. It is used solely by the celebrant to manage his own wedding bookings, task checklists, client correspondence and ceremony paperwork. It is not a public product and has no other users.
With the celebrant's explicit consent, Wedding Hub connects to his own Google Account (wairarapacelebrant@gmail.com) to:
Data retrieved from Google (email content, calendar events, Drive files and metadata) is used only to provide the features above for the celebrant. It is processed to generate draft replies and summaries and is stored in Wedding Hub's private database (hosted with Neon, in Australia) for the operation of the app.
Wedding Hub's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not transferred to others except as needed to provide the app, for security, or to comply with the law. No humans read the data except the celebrant himself.
Couples who submit the public enquiry form provide their names, email address and details about their wedding. This is stored so the celebrant can respond and, if the booking proceeds, manage it. It is not used for anything else.
To draft replies and summarise correspondence, relevant text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through the API.
Information is kept while it is needed for the celebrant's business records. To ask about or request deletion of data that concerns you, email wairarapacelebrant@gmail.com.
